As a New Englander and a Red Sox fan, and as a human being....this might be a little too much.

Car dealers
So, in Rhode Island, it's illegal for a car dealership to open on Sunday. There is some dispute over this because of a recent law allowing liquor stores to open. But let's say the law won't allow Sunday sales. There is a discussion currently because the dealers on the Mass border feel they are losing sales since the Bay State allows Sunday sales. No one seems to be addressing the main question. Why do we give the government the right to tell us who can and who cannot open on Sunday??? It's wrong in so many ways. The hypocrites won't tell you that it's "The Lord's Day", but that's the reason. I know that this country was founded by men who were Christian and who would be outraged at selling on Sunday. But why can clothes, food, flowers, medicine, and even liquor be sold on Sunday (during carefully regulated hours), but not cars? Just another case of the scum in the State House telling us how to live our lives.
